Owner & Lead Carpenter

Brent leads Archstone Homes with hands-on craftsmanship, dependable communication, and a deep commitment to quality. After more than a decade flipping homes and learning every facet of residential construction, he now focuses on delivering custom builds and remodels with care and precision.

He enjoys life at home with his wife and five kids, often bringing his son along to job sites to learn the trade. His day usually starts with black coffee and ends with a chocolate Concrete Mixer from Culver’s.

Business Operations Manager

Kevin keeps Archstone Homes running smoothly from the very first inquiry to the final walkthrough. He manages scheduling, communication, proposals, and quoting — ensuring every client knows exactly what to expect throughout the process. His attention to detail and calm, organized approach make him an essential part of turning complex projects into clear, manageable steps.

Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys traveling with his wife Amber and their daughter, grilling in the summer, and fueling his days with iced coffee — because drinking it black felt “a little too manly.”

Kurt Wierenga

Remodel Estimator

Kurt brings steady guidance and practical insight to every remodel project. As a full-time firefighter who handles estimating on his off days, he helps homeowners shape their vision, understand realistic costs, and choose the right materials for their space. His straightforward approach helps clients feel confident about their remodel from the beginning.

When he isn’t working, Kurt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children — often out on their boat soaking up Michigan summers.
